11 Year Anniversary Celebration

On Sunday 27 November, the Raptors basketball community came together to celebrate 11 years  since inception.  With over 190 people attended the event hosted at the Oakleigh South Primary School, the evening was enjoyable for all with trivia, singing, even dancing and games for all!

There was a healthy spirit of competition with terrific prizes, an auction, supported by:

• Melbourne United Jersey signed by all players
  
• Football signed by Collingwood AFL Captain Scott Pendlebury,
  
• Big Swing Drummond Golf Gift Voucher for 4 players,
  
• Buxton Oakleigh Limited Edition Monopoly Game

We also raffled off some amazing prizes including:

• an iPhone
• local cafes vouchers
• Pizza vouchers,
• Donuts! Because you can't just have one :)
• Toy gift packs
• Plants and greenlife
  

The evening was catered by Souva Man and everyone agreed that the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful! A huge shout out to our trivia host, Leon, from TriviaOz.  Leon was a truly entertaining host who managed to get a room full of over 190 people up on their feet and dancing on a Sunday evening which is no easy feat!
